About Me

The following is an interview conducted by my professor to reflect upon my experience in English...............

M.M   “What writing assignment did you enjoy the most?"

P.J    "As always my first essay entitled Buy Me, Please was some of my best work."

M.M    " What worked well in this essay?"

P.J    "This essay was fun to do.  To be able to write an essay off of just one picture is amazing to me.  The best part of the essay was when I made the connection between photo and both walks of life, our poor and rich.  Heres a passage from the essay to demonstrate........The advertisement published in 1933 by Dodge appealed to the masses, those that already live the luxurious lifestyle and those that aspire to be a part of that elite society.

M.M    "What writing assignment gave you the most difficulty?"

P.J    "I found it most difficult to write our second paper, cause and effect."

M.M    "Why?"

P.J    "I think my problem with this paper steemend from the fvact that I was unable to choose my own topic.  The topics that were picked were ones in which I did not have any background knowledge of."

M.M    "How did you resolve this difficulty?"

P.J    "I really dont believe I did...and my grade reflects so."

M.M    "What have you learned about yourself as a writer?"

P.J    "I have never enjoyed writing, and honestly I dont think I do know.  I was able to learn that if you put your heart and soul into it you can accomplish anything no matter how much you dont enjoy it."

M.M    "What have you learned about yourself as a reader?"

P.J    "I don't think I learned anything new about myself as a reader.  I love to read.  I pick up a good novel at every opportunity."

M.M    "What have you learned about yourself as a critical thinker?"

P.J    "This is a question I have pondered on since I took philosophy this past summer semester.  I still feel as if I have a long way to go in that department."

The interview that you just enjoyed did not really occur.  It was written as a fun way to complete my "Reflections" assignment.
